Meningitis B Vaccination

The vaccines offered to patients are dependent on age and on date of birth.  Men B vaccination is only offered by the NHS to patients born on or after 1st April 2015, and is delivered as part of routine childhood immunisations given at 8 weeks old, 12 weeks old and 1 year old.  If your child was born on or after 1st April 2015 and is up to date with their UK childhood vaccinations then they have already had their Men B vaccinations.

Children and young adults ages 14 -25 are eligible for a MenACWY vaccination if they have not already had this, but this does not include Men B.  Further information  regarding the NHS vaccination schedule is available here: NHS Vaccinations.

Some vaccinations, including Men B, may be available privately from some pharmacies and private service providers. Some local private providers include:

Your Local community Pharmacy in Barnes – Forward Pharmacy

Meningitis B Vaccination Service | Boots Pharmacy

Meningitis B Vaccination Vaccination – Superdrug Health Clinic
